Practice Description

​I see a diverse range of clients from around the world. I have a dedicated consulting room that is safe, clean, and confidential so that we can work collaboratively. You will need to create a similar sort of environment so that you are comfortable. 

Process 

I like to describe therapy as a process. I work with my clients on a regular weekly basis at the same time each where possible. This consistency and containment can be relied upon like a crutch while your life regains balance. I work on a long-term open-ended basis.

​In the beginning, we reference the unknown, as we don’t know what will come up and out of the therapy. Fresh starts can feel like we are dropping a pebble in a pond as we grow aware of ripples in our lives.  As time goes on you will know how to befriend or be with them. All sessions are important, especially the last one. The well-managed, planned ending is your opportunity to have control of one if you haven’t before. We end when it’s complete enough with an understanding that my door remains open to you.

The chargeable assessment meeting/s is a 45-minute (90-minute for couples) no obligation to continue the exploratory discussion to express: –

– Is there anything else you think I should know about you?

Promises

– Therapists tend not to make promises however I can assure you if it can’t be better, then an aspect will feel better. 

– Therapy can’t work if you can’t come.
