Premise
The person behind the historical image
Biography records what happened. Psychobiography asks what organized it.
The project approaches a public figure as a psychologically complex subject situated within family, culture, historical circumstance, and symbolic inheritance.
Its interest lies in the tension between private formation and public consequence: how an early relational pattern may reappear in authority, creation, rivalry, devotion, withdrawal, or political imagination.
Methodological position
Interpretation held accountable to the archive.
Psychic organization
Interpretation attends to conflict, repetition, defense, attachment, ambition, loss, authority, and the symbolic meanings carried across a biography.
Analytical restraint
The work distinguishes interpretation from diagnosis and treats contradiction as evidence to be examined rather than noise to be removed.
